Today Mr Harvy Champness from Wimmera Catchment Authority came to test water. He was doing salinity testing. I bought water from the Wimmera River at Lower Norton and its salt rate was 2800 ec. At the Wimmera River in Quantong it was 3900 ec which means it has lots of salt.We watched a movie called Fresh and Salty and it was about how trees and animals die from lots of salt. It also showed
that it can be really salty down stream but up stream there was not much at all salt!!!
